Custom Casted Foot Orthotics

Starting at your first visit with our Chiropodist, you leave with your own individualized treatment plan to treat your foot pain.  Orthotics are only one part of a comprehensive treatment plan provided to you at Simard Foot & Ankle Clinic.

Feet change and so do your needs.  An annual examination and evaluation is important.  At Simard Foot & Ankle Clinic, before your new orthotic is prescribed, your foot health is examined and a new casting of your feet is done every time.   Ensure you have an orthotic that is up-to-date and addresses your current symptoms.

Biomechanical & Gait Analysis

During a biomechanical examination, your foot structure and lower limbs are thoroughly examined by our Chiropodist who is an expert in identifying any abnormalities. A gait analysis is also a crucial part of a chiropodist’s evaluation in order to identify irregularities and asymmetries in your gait which may contribute to existing symptoms. The findings of a biomechanical & gait analysis are then used to determine a treatment plan to alleviate existing symptoms and provide an optimal outcome for you.
